Susan founded the Princess system in 1993 and is also the owner of the Little and Teen Miss Goldsboro and Little Miss Wayne County pageants. Susan has been involved in all aspects of pageants for over 30 years from competitor to pageant mom and everything in between. She has also owned and operated her own pageant dress shop and is a licensed cosmetologist! Steve is employed as an engineer with Waukesha Electric Systems in Goldsboro and has been involved in all aspects of pageantry for over eight years, from auditor, judge, and director! He handles all the "behind the scenes" aspects of directing and is also the creator and manager of our website! Both Steve and Susan have judged many different styles of pageants on the local, state, regional and national levels! They have three daughters April,Stephanie and Kristen! They reside in Goldsboro, NC with their dogs "Ringo" & "Taco" and their cats "Kitty Fluff" and "Simba"!

have been involved in the pageant industry for over 16 years! They have experienced pageants from every angle! They have judged on the local, regional, state, and national levels and have been directing for over ten years! They have three children, two boys, Trey and Michael and one daughter, Elizabeth! Elizabeth has been competiting in pageants for almost 15 years and has held the title of Overall Supreme Princess of North Carolina on three different occasions! She was also Teen Miss Wayne County USA in 2001 and finished in the top twelve at the state competition in Asheville, NC that same year. Marie is also the owner of Cinderella's Closet which specializes in pageant clothing and consulting. She also owns and operates a Dariy Queen in Kinston and Eddie is the owner of Southeast Auto Brokers of Kinston!
Lisa Osborne

is 30 years old and reside in Jefferson, NC with her husband, David, 5 year-old daughter, Madison, and their two dogs, Lexy and Cosmo. Lisa began dancing at the age of 4 and continued with her dance instruction for 14 and 1/2 years. She has had training in all areas of dance, including tap, jazz, ballet, point, clogging, and gymnastics. Growing up, Lisa competed in many pageants with 2 North Carolina Cover Miss titles, as well as 1st runner-up in the North Carolina American Dream Girl Pageant. She has also competed in "Showstoppers" National Talent competition with first place wins in both group/solo divisions. Lisa graduated from Wilkes Community College in 1994 with an Associates Degree in Nursing and she is currently employed as a Registered Nurse with Ashe Services for Aging. Lisa said "I am looking forward to making my directing debut with the Princess of the High Country pageant".

Ranessa has been a director, judge, consultant, contestant, and enjoys helping her daughter Madison in pageants. Ranessa is a teacher with the Pitt County School system. She and her husband Geno have a 15 year old son, Matthew, and daughter Madison who has competed in pageants since the age of 4 and is currently the reigning 2007 Little Miss Princess of NC. Ginger and her husband Joshua reside in Jacksonville NC and they have one daughter Meghan who is the current reigning Mini-Supreme Princess of North Carolina. Ginger is currenlty learning the ropes of directing but has been envolved in pageants for many years as a contestant, judge, auditor and pageant mom. They are very excited about working as directors for the Princess of North Carolina pageant system and look forward to meeting many new people and making lots of wonderful memories!

Karen has grown up in Johnston County. She resides Smithfield/Selma area with her husband Brian, and two children, Matthew and Kaylee. Karen also has learned the ropes of pageantry because her daughter Kaylee has been competing since she was 12 months old. She loves to compete in pageants and is the current Baby Miss Princess of North Carolina. She won Mini Majestic at her very first pageant and they have loved it ever since. Karen has trained in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Gymnastics and Vocal Presentation. She was a member of her High School Ensemble Group and a member of a Trio Gospel group. Karen has been a hairstylist for the past 14 years and loves to instill confidence in others by changing their hairstyles. She is currently an assistant teacher in the Johnston County School System and works with autistic children. She loves children and making a difference in their lives inspires her. She is very excited to join our pageant system as a director and cant wait to meet new people and reunite with old friends along this journey.
Tracy Monk grew up in Michigan and currently resides in Johnston County with her husband Bill and two daughters. Emily and Alyssa. Tracy has been involved in pageantry for many years as a Director, contestant and a pageant mom. Her daughter Alyssa is the reigning Baby Miss Princess of North Carolina . Tracy is the Co Director of Princess of Wake and Johnston County Pageants. She has had 10 years of Dance and was an assistant to the Dance Instructor. Tracy has also been involved with music since Elementary School. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and currently works as a Paralegal for a Law Firm in Raleigh . Tracy is very happy to join this pageant system as a co-director.

Natalie resides in Connelly Springs, NC with her husband Jeremy, daughter Emily and newest addition in February 2007 of son Nathan. She is an administrative assistant at Peoples Bank Corporate Center in Newton, NC. Natalie enjoys scrap booking, cooking and most of all being a Mommy. As a child she was involved in dance, pageants and gymnastics. "Natalie has been re-introduced to the world of pageantry over the last several years when her daughter started competing at the age of 9 months. Emily held 7
preliminary titles before her first birthday and won two state titles at 14 months old. Emily was the 2004 Overall Mini Supreme Princess of NC, the Youngest Mini Supreme to ever be crowned". Natalie has competed as a Mrs. contestant and loved it; and was the 2004 Mrs. Princess of Hickory.
Stacey is a Buyer for Hickory Springs Manufacturing Company in Hickory and is married to the Rev. Mark Propst. They have three children, Jake, Ben & Sarah. Stacey has been trained in vocal performance and has been featured as a Soprano for various groups and currently directs and teach's the New Jerusalem Baptist Church Adult, Youth and Children's Choirs. In her younger years she had 15 years dance experience in Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Modern in performance and competition. Stacey’s daughter Sarah loves pageantry as she holds and has held preliminary, state and international titles. Stacey loves all aspects of pageantry from judging and auditing to the challenge of preparing for them.Natalie and Stacey are extremely proud and excited to be a part of this awesome pageant system and very proud that in 2005 had 5 of their queens go on to win state titles and in 2006 had 2 of their queens to win state titles. All of our queens have done a fantastic job. We are very proud of all our queens and encourage them in all they do.

Little Miss Tri-County (Mitchell, Avery, and Yancy Counties)
has been involved with pageants for the past 17years. She has competed, volunteered, judged and directed pageants at the local and state levels. Michelle has been the director of the Little Miss Tri-County pageant for the past five years. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University where she majored in elementary education and minored in dance. She has had 18 years of intense dance training. Currently, Michelle is a first grade teacher and resides in Spruce Pines, NC with her husband Tom and their three children Tyler, Macie, and Allie. "I look forward to expanding my Tri-County pageant to a state system. It will provide an opportunity for the girls in western North Carolina to further their pageant experiences.

Jenny has been involved in pageantry for over 17 years as a contestant, judge, assistant, and director on a local level. She is a member of the Asheboro Jaycees where she is very involved with the Asheboro Jaycees Randolph County Youth Pageant which she directed in 2005. She enjoys helping her daughter Ashlin in pageants Ashlin is the 2006 Doll Miss Princess of Moore County. Jenny has had training in dance (tap, jazz, ballet, and clogging). She resides in Asheboro with her husband Darrell, daughter Ashlin, and son Austin where she is employed with Randolph County Government as an Administrative Assistant in the Soil and Water Conservation Department. Tammy Baysden lives with her husband Robert and their three children, Hudson 8, Riley 7, and Montana 3. Tammy has a real life view of pageantry because she and Montana both compete. Montana has competed since she was 15 months old and Tammy just started competing in June 2005 when she won the title of Mrs. Seven Springs. She went on to be crowned Classic Miss North Carolina Heartland and then Classic Miss Seven Springs Christmas.Tammy has just completed her Associates in Arts degree from Lenoir Community College in Kinston and will be returning to college in Jan. 2006 to pursue a degree in Biotechnology.

has been involved with pageants for more than 8 years,anything from judging to offering pageant advice to actually preparing contestants for competing. She has two daughters, Logan (13) and Brooke (6). Her oldest daughter has competed in many pageants and has won many titles. She has competed in national competitions for vocal, modeling, photogenic and dance. Brooke the youngest daughter has also competed in pageants and won and has also competed nationally for modeling, dance and photogenic. Tonya enjoys spending time with her daughters at pageant competitions, judging, cooking, and reading. They have one dog, a poodle and her name is Candy Kiss! Tonya and her family reside in Bailey NC.

Kristina Barrier, Director of Princess of Cabarrus County and Co-director w/ Wendi Kempf for Princess of Union County: has been involved with pageants for 8 years. She has been a pageant mom for 8 years, competed, volunteered, judged, audited, and directed pageants on the local, state and national levels. Kristina was a director for American Beauties from 2001-2002 and is very excited to now direct for Princess of Cabarrus and Union Counties. She has also judged for various systems including Cover Miss, Fabulous Faces, and American Royalty. Kristina attended East Carolina University and Stanly Community College where she majored in Business Administration and minored in Accounting and Business Math. Currently, Kristina is a data quality loan specialist and resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband, Ryan, and their three daughters Kayla, Kassidy and Karley Grace. Her daughters have each held various preliminary, state and National level titles. “I am very excited about directing two prelims for the Princess of NC and working with the Princess family.”

Hello I am Wendi Kempf ~ the co-director of the Princess of Union County Pageant, along with Kristina Barrier. I have previously owned and directed the Little Miss Union County Royalty Pageant. I have been involved in pageants for many years – serving as a director, auditor , and mom. My daughters Dusti and Brooke both have competed all over the state of North Carolina and have held many titles. My daughter Dusti currently holds the title of Miss Cabarrus County and competed at Miss North Carolina this year. Pageants are responsible for the self confidence that My girls have come to posses. I myself, have gained many great friends through pageantry. There are so many wonderful families involved . I encourage those of you who are trying to decide if pageants are for You , to just give it a try. Come and see Your daughter blossom into a strong , confident young lady. Melanie and Amy have worked together for almost five years now in the world of pageantry. Combined, the team has over 25 years of pageantry experience. When the two aren’t “doing the pageant thing,” they both enjoy spending time with family and friends, hanging out at the lake, and eating Taco Bell!
Melanie is the mom of Courtney Smith, the “2004-2005 Tiny Miss Princess of North Carolina” and Allison Smith, the “2006-2007 Wee Miss Princess of North Carolina” and the reigning “2007 Royal Princess of North Carolina.” Melanie has traveled all over the state of North Carolina with her girls competing and appearing at pageants; as well as, judging and coaching. She resides in Granite Falls, North Carolina where she owns a grading business with her husband, Jimmy.
Amy is the State Choreographer for the Princess of North Carolina State Pageant. She owns and operates Ann & Amy’s School of Dance with her mother, Ann. The studio consistently produces local, state, and national level title winners. Amy has been involved in dance and pageantry since the age of two. In 1992, she held the title of “Miss Hickory,” and went on to compete in the “Miss North Carolina Scholarship Pageant.” She resides in Newton, North Carolina with her daughter, Abbey Grace.
Princess of Tarheel East (Martin & Bertie County area)
Chelsea participated competitively in various sports as a child and young adult including cheerleading and has judged cheerleading competitions as well as assisted various organizations such as PTA, Churches and Non-Profit Organizations with auditioning various acts for talent and variety shows. She also modeled in various modeling competitions. She is the mother of three lovely children one teenage daughter who competes in pageants and two sons one of whom is active in sports. She attended Elizabeth City State University where she received her undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. She received her Masters in Business from Hampton University in Virginia. Chelsea is actively involved in her community and serves in leadership roles with PTA, 4-H and the Girl Scouts. Chelsea says "I have always loved watching and attending pageants and have made outfits in the past for my daughter and other relatives competing in local pageants, fashion and talent shows". Her hobbies include drawing, sewing and collecting porcelain figurines and we have two pet fish named "Reeses" and "Butter Cup".
Katrina Potts
Princess of Statesville
has been married to the love of her life Douglas for 15 years. They have three children, Garrett who is 12, Amber who is 8 and Logan who is 7. Katrina has been involved in all areas of pageantry from being a pageant mom for over five years to auditor and judge and now directing. Her daughter Logan has held many titles over the last five years. She graduated from Appalachian State University with two degrees, a BS in Clothing and Textiles and one in Business Education. She is currently a teacher at West Iredell High School. Katrina is involved with the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the Prom Coordinator, the Miss West Iredell High School pageant and Homecoming festivities. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her family as well as scrap booking. They have two dogs, Katie a black lab and Blizzie a yellow lab.
Amber Pender Howell

has been involved in pageants since 1998. She has competed and held many titles herself, been mistress of ceremonies, judged, entertained, and assisted with most of the behind the scene preparations as well as helping others prepare for pageants. She also has been involved with both Stage Struck and Center Stage Theatres. Amber got married to Jeremy Howell in 2005 and welcomed her first child Alyssa Jaydyn Howell on March 13th 2006. Alyssa currently holds the title of 2007 Doll Miss Greater Goldsboro and 2007 Baby Miss NC Pickle Princess. Amber has an associate's degree in marketing and retailing and hopes to one day open her own children's boutique. Amber and her family reside in Pikeville, North Carolina.

I live in Lenoir County with my husband and two children: Riley and Hayden. I fell in love with the Princess Pageant system from getting involved with my daughter as she competed. Hayden competed in her first pageant at 13 months old where she won Mini-Magestic. We were “hooked” after that. Hayden is now the reigning Doll Miss Princess of North Carolina. I am currently employed @ Kinston Medical Specialist where I work as a cardiac nurse. I am so excited to be a part of the Princess family and look forward to making long lasting friendships.

Sandy is happily married with a 2year old son and lives in Stanfield, NC. She is a member of Mission Baptist Church of Locust. She currently works for the Stanly County Government. I obtained associate degrees in Information Systems, Early Childhood, and Business Administration. I have been involved in pageants for nearly 20 years, as contestant, director, or judging. I have also been involved in gymnastics and cheerleading all my life. I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. I am looking forward to becoming another member of the extended Princess family.
My name is Bonnie Sides, I have four children, two girls and two boys, I also have two granddaughters one 5 months and one 2 years old, I have been married to my husband Jimmy Sides for 18 years, me and my husband own a Real Estate Company in Badin Lake NC that I help my husband with on the weekends, and I also own a Merle Norman Cosmetic Store in Harrisburg NC, in my spare time I also hold down a full time job as an Office Administrator, I am known as a work aholic that is why I love doing pageants with my daughters and granddaughters occasionally. I am looking forward to co-directing with Sandy and we will do our very best to produce a quality pageant for everyone to enjoy!

has been married to the love of her life Buford for 50 years. They have a bunch of kids, 16 Grand kids, 26 Great Grand kids! Cecila has been involved in all areas of pageantry from being a contestant, pageant mom, pageant grandmother for over thirty-five years to auditor and judge and now directing. She has held several titles herself including the title of Miss Crab Trap! Her youngest daughter Martina has held many titles over the last 25 years. Cecila graduated from the one room schoolhouse near her home on Buzzards Bay Massachusetts in 1912. She can read and write and has her Captains license! They have two dogs, a cat and a first mate named Earl who smells like fish! Hopefully we'll get some up to date information from Cecila very soon so we can update her BIO!
